The Problem

  • Need to digitise a legacy paper archive of secure documents
  • The service had to be implemented and completely within 6 months due to an office move
  • The client lacked the expertise to complete the task themselves

What We Did

  • Flow AI were able to mobilise staff resource from our existing pool of vetted staff and create an onsite scanning centre.
  • The project involved the digitisation of a range of paper formats dating back to 1970, including loose drawings, plans & sketches, small wire or plastic bound reports, large single volume lever arch files with a mix of A4 text, A3 text and drawings up to A0.
  • Flow AI also supported on the review of documents, determining which needed to be digitised against the customer retention policy
  • The scanned images were then uploaded into a searchable archive.
