The Customer

  • Leading UK Law firm
  • Founded in 1890
  • Multiple office locations
  • Has been named Law Firm of the Year three times

The Problem

  • The firm wanted to move away from traditional print-based document processing, towards the introduction of digital workflows and e-Discovery technology.
  • They needed to remove the management burden involved in the client self-delivering the Print Room directly
  • There was a requirement to migrate towards a more flexible operating model, enabling flexible support during peak periods

What We Did

  • Initial transfer of the customer Print Room to Flow AI, including staff TUPE
  • Development of an on-site/off-site operational model whereby only essential work with a quick turnaround remained on-site
  • Investments were made in new equipment to improve workflows on-site
  • Introduce Digital Mail technology to enable to electronic capture and routing of documents to recipient
  • eBibling service supporting digital working
  • Introduced an Objective coding service to support document digitisation

Services

  • Capture
  • Create

What We Achieved

  • Overall cost of service reduction, with the removal of any customer capital expenditure requirement
  • The removal of the management burden of running the Print Room, which allowed the firm to refocus on their core business activities
  • A flexible on-site/off-site operating model, assisting with peak workflows
  • Greater visibility of electronic/paper document methodology for litigation management which resulted in an increased usage of intelligent document control solutions e.g. document databases
